Living in Downtown Los Angeles as a young adult gave me so many great experiences and advantages. The convenience, night life, great eats; you couldnt ask for more. When Covid first came around, it took away many of the great things of convenient DTLA life including my go-to bakery for my daily coffee and cookie. Although I tried to find another cafe close to me, none of them had a great cookie; they were all too sweet and sugary and just downright awful. I had nowhere else to turn but to myself. After months of research and testing, I created the well balanced cookie that was more than just sweet, but also buttery and savory; Eat Em Up Cookies was born.
